Inside the Abu Dhabi Pop-Up: 100m² Built in 3 Days

An Abu Dhabi brand activation needed a complete mini-golf experience built on an exhibition hall floor, inside a footprint of roughly 100m², and ready for families to play on opening day. There was no natural surface to work with and no margin in the schedule: the entire course had to be designed, built and finished in days, not weeks.

The course was built entirely on a raised base over the existing exhibition floor, with the full multi-hole routing marked, laid and finished on-site. Every contour and pin position had to be engineered to feel larger and richer than the physical space actually allowed, since the whole point of the activation was to deliver a real golf experience, not a scaled-down gesture at one.

Projects on this timeline only work with rapid, coordinated mobilisation. A crew of 10+ elite technicians worked the installation as one continuous build rather than a series of separate stages, which is what made a 3-day turnaround possible without compromising the finish.
